Another glorious day in the National Capital – or, in this case, Queanbeyan – and a perfect day for our annual participation in the Shannon’s Wheels Display Day. This annual event is organised on behalf of the Council of ACT Motor Clubs with all profits going to local charities. Our Club has participated for at least the last 15 years and we always manage to put on a great display.

This year, under warm and sunny skies, 20 MX5s were displayed to the general public, as well as our favourite De Lorean and our Club’s BBQ trailer. Prime positions went to fine examples of each model to help explain our history and our raison d’ėtre to the many admirers who came to discuss our cars and our Club.

During the day, we also welcomed a number of members from the Sydney Chapter of the Club who were visiting the area for the day.

Particular thanks go to the 26 of our members who came along on the day, including Ian Botcher who cleaned up and towed the BBQ trailer and Angelo who bought along his DeLorean DMC.
