Thursday morning saw 20 participants in 12 cars assemble at Mount Sugar Loaf lookout in what could be described as a glorious winter weather clear but cool Ray gave the morning briefing before we headed down from the lookout and up George booth Dr onto
Richmond vale Rd for a very enjoyable run this included a chance to watch a road crew at work patching one of the larger holes along the road to Cessnock a few less pot holes is worth a small delay before heading off again through Cessnock a couple of lefts and rights and we arrived at our destination The Sabour Desert Bar on Broke Rd Pokolbin.
Oh My Goodness the deserts are works of culinary art with so many different choices accompanied by great coffee etc and a pleasant elevated view out over the local area the most frequent comment was can we come here again please. All in all, a great day out many thanks to Marlene & Ray for putting this run together for us to enjoy.
