Today's eagerly awaited Car club's annual awards presentation and Xmas party took place in St Georges Basin's waterfront restaurant, the Pelican Waterfront Cafe.
A glass of bubbles, and our list of awards recipients was finally revealed!

Well deserved, ladies!
Rose acknowledged a number of run organisers and assistants for their hard work and effort organising our runs during the year:
Wine and Xmas hampers were received by Karen Olde, Paul Rigney, Mike Fowler (presented last Tuesday), Robert Downing, Linda Downing, Brian Clayton and Anda Clayton.
Rose also thanked our Chapter volunteers - Bob Downing (Run Coordinator), Anne Zattera (regalia officer), Brian Clayton (Web manager), Anda Clayton (Publicity Officer) and of course Geoff Smith (Co-Convenor and Rose's "partner in crime")
Time for a bit if fun - the winner of the guessing competition was announced....new member Nicole Wallace guessed the closest number to the 126 chocolates in the jar. Happy eating Nicole!
Lucky door prize winners-new member Gary Wallace (a lucky couple?), Bob Olde (2nd year running) and Valerie Reed. Congratulations, enjoy your treats!
Our 2-course lunch was delicious, as always. Conversation flowed, as did the wine and orange juice. A very pleasant end of year celebration with our MX5 friends.
A sincere thankyou to Rose for, yet again, organising a successful Xmas event. Your hard work and dedication is appreciated by all of our Club members.
