The Archibald from the top

18 March 2024 / Deb and Rob Dempsey

Another beautiful day in the Blue Mountains for an RPM run.

Luckily we had the roads to match.
After all meeting up at Hartley Historic Village it was off along the winding Jenolan Caves Road for
some great scenery and fun bends. An early turn took us back towards Lithgow where we all
enjoyed some delicious coffee and cakes, as well as the usual banter.

The drive down Bells Line Road didn’t disappoint despite the occasional roadwork stoppages. It
was a beautiful Autumn day with sunshine, warmth and a spectacular road.

To complete the run
we lunched at the Archibald Hotel at Kurrajong Heights with tasty pizzas, lamb shanks and other
well cooked treats. The noise the RPMer’s were making during lunch indicated everyone had a
great day.
