Starting in Dural, top-down optimism met a damp reality as our soft-tops faced the morning drizzle. Our MX-5 convoy braved the slippery road through Galston Gorge and headed for the Berowra Ferry with our top-down optimism still on standby. After the ferry crossing  we pulled over for morning tea to celebrate World Scout Day with a round of homemade treats baked by Eilis with scout-like preparedness. Now refuelled after our sugar fix we made our way through Cattai and rolled into Wisemans Ferry for lunch at the Wisemans Inn, where the sun finally showed up—proving that even the weather is prepared to "be prepared."
