Wollongong TAFE Twenty Twenty Restaurant holds these fabulous training days for future chefs, baristas and wait staff, and we get to sample the wares, complete with accompanying wines.
On Tuesday 24th of September 17 eager gourmands were treated to a delightful array of dishes from salmon and pear entres, followed by a rare steak with broccolini and artichoke heart or scrumptious duck with baby carrots on cauliflower mash and completed with creme brulee or star anisse chocolate cake.
Does this sound like a gourmet menu? It was. The food was delicious, wine was quite good and the price was definitely right. If you missed this one, I would recommend you give it a go, it was so good, I only took photos of the food, apart from a pair of hands, not a single person (or car) came within camera shot, we were so busy enjoying the food.
