Araluen Adventure
Government regulations and associated club rules, due to COVID, this run is no longer allowed as a club run. People on the booking sheet will receive an email concerning an alternative, non club, suggestion.
Why “Adventure”?
Because no-one has been there for ages and so no current scouting.
BUT the road from Braidwood to Araluen is sealed and the valley is beautiful. There is a picnic spot by the creek and the pub has a toilet.
SO. Let us travel to Braidwood, picking up stragglers at Nelligen. We will stop for coffee and a comfort break at the Braidwood Bakery. If you didn’t make your own picnic lunch, you can buy it at the bakery.
THEN. It is off to Araluen. For a description see the attached web site. https://www.aussietowns.com.au/town/araluen-nsw
We will have a picnic lunch at the spot described under “panning for gold”. We can do a bit of exploring before the trip home in the afternoon. Perhaps we will stop for an ice cream at Nelligen.
PS The road from Braidwood to Nerriga is not yet finished so we can't do the big loop.

Maybe next year!
Under current club rules for club runs, you must book by using the "Book Now" button and there is a limit of 10 persons on the run, so get in quick. Only members who receive a confirmation email will be allowed to attend (don't blame us, the government is making the rules). Please note only financial members are allowed to attend.
