For those of you who are travelling some distance, there are many good accommodation options in Bungendore. The Carrington Inn is a modern motel (https://thecarringtoninn.com.au/ ) or at the Lake George Hotel.
After breakfast the following day we will take a drive down to the old gold mining town of Captains Flat for a walk around the many historic features of the town. After lunch at the hotel we will wend our way home either through Braidwood for the far south members or Tarago and Nerriga for the more northerly members.
