Berrima sights by day, and lunch

Hi Zoomers, I have just done the dry run for our next outing, and I am now confident that this one will be memorable.
Meet at 08:45 AM to leave at 09:00 AM from the EPIC Service station on Northbourne Av. We will proceed in convoy via Mac’s Reef road to Bungendore and carry on through Tarago to Marulan. We will stop there at the Truck Stop for a coffee (half hour) and then via the Highway to Berrima. We should arrive at Berrima at about noon.
At Berrima park near the restaurants and spread out for lunch or picnic in the park. I can recommend the Little Hand-Stirred Jam shop (which is expecting some of us) for those who want light, quick and cheap, and the Courtyard Café for a larger meal.
We will assemble at the Courthouse at 2:00 PM. a short walk from the restaurants. The Courthouse Tour is exceptionally entertaining and historically informing for an amateur production. There will be a short film show followed by a scary murder trial AV production in the old courtroom. The cost is $9/head, and they have asked us to pay as a group. I will collect this before we go in. Since change may be difficult, I suggest we pay $10 each and I will offer them the remainder as a donation for the upkeep of the museum.
After the show, we will proceed home under our own steam. The Hume Highway is not far away, or you could choose take the scenic route on the Highland way through Exeter, Bundanoon, and Wingello.
