Bowral Beauty
The largest town in the Southern Highlands, Bowral was traditionally a rural summer retreat for the gentry of Sydney. There are still elements of this on display today, from fine manor houses to antique stores and gourmet restaurants.
Corbett Gardens, in the centre of Bowral, is well worth a stroll, and there is good coffe and food to be had in one of the many cafes in town. There’s art at the Milk Factory Gallery or the Bowral Art Gallery, there’s boutique shopping, ‘vintage’ shopping at DirtyJane’s and plenty more to explore.
