The largest town in the Southern Highlands, Bowral was traditionally a rural summer retreat for the gentry of Sydney. There are still elements of this on display today, from fine manor houses to antique stores and gourmet restaurants.
Corbett Gardens, in the centre of Bowral, is well worth a stroll, and there is good coffe and food to be had in one of the many cafes in town. There’s art at the Milk Factory Gallery or the Bowral Art Gallery, there’s boutique shopping, ‘vintage’ shopping at DirtyJane’s and plenty more to explore.
Ron has made a group booking for 10 rooms at the Bowral Boutique Motel for Saturday 13th March. Participants can call the Motel direct on 48111845; Nicole is the manager and reserve their room under the Canberra MX 5 club. The special rate is $155 and payment is only required on the day and no cancellation fee applicable.
Put this run it in your diary and book your spot.
