Leaving Yallah Saturday morning this run will meander through the Southern Highlands with stops at Marulan for a cuppa and lunch at Crookwell. Then onto Cowra for our 2 night stay at the Cowra Services Club Motel, where 15 rooms have been set aside for the MX5 Club. Contact the Motel on 63411999 to confirm your room for 11/6 and 12/6. Rooms are $160 per night and when you contact the motel let them know if you want a hot breakfast at an additional $20 per person per day – a minimum number is required for the hot breakfast, so the motel will let me know if that number is not reached). Note a continental breakfast is included in the room rate and there should be other options down the street.
Saturday evening, we will dine in the Services Club and then on Sunday we will cruise to Grenfell to attend the Henry Lawson Festival. (More details to come – but I can tell you this is a big event with around 8,000 expected to attend over the weekend)Sunday evening dinner details to come.
Monday 13thwe will wind our way to Bowning for lunch where the official run will end.
