Friday 25 October 2013

DAY 1 or 1 DAY RUN.   The CTW for the BreakFast Club starts from McGraths Hill on Friday morning with brisk run up the awesome Putty Road to finish at Singleton to refuel body and car.  After brekkie the route heads over to Denman then down the Bylong Valley Way, a great MX-5 road, to Rylstone where anyone on a one day run leaves the group.  From Rylstone the route takes the Lue Road to Mudgee before a run down to Hill End and the heritage Royal Hotel for lunch.  After lunch the final leg of the day is a great drive down the fabulous road to Bathurst for dinner and a well earned good night’s sleep.

SATURDAY 26 OCtober 2013

BreakFast Club - DAY 2   For the BreakFast Club the CTW starts from Bathurst on Saturday morning with brisk run on back roads through Blayney to Orange for brunch.  After the break we head off on a loop out west then down to Canowindra and Cowra for a run down to Wyangala Dam.  The high point of the day is the challenging road up from the dam that will be driven twice if time permits.  The day ends with a run back to Bathurst on sweeping back roads to meet up with the Sydney Chapter to exchange stories about the day’s events and dinner that night.

Sunday 27 October 2013

BreakFast Club & Sydney Chapter’s Final Day   Sunday is the final day for both the BreakFast Club & Sydney Chapter runs that starts off with brekkie at the award winning Hub Cafe and a visit to Mt  if open to cars due to an extreme sports event.  From Bathurst both groups head for Oberon at their chosen pace over the same roads as a waypoint and/or convoy run respectively.  The route passes through Rockley to Mt David, Black Springs then a run up the fabulous stretch of road from Shooters Hill past the pine plantations to Oberon.  RPM is having a picnic run to Mayfield Gardens in Oberon and members have the option of joining the RPM members for lunch and a run home or heading back across the mountains.  The BreakFast Club will head south from Oberon on the MX-5 friendly Tablelands Way to negotiate the Abercrombie Gorge on the way to Taralga and Goulburn for lunch on the route back home.
