Join Mike and Jo for a pleasant day’s drive in the country.

After departing Hall, we expect to drive along Barton and Hume Highways, through Harden and directly to Allambie Cherry Orchard at 3725 Olympic Way, Wombat.

We would hope to have coffee there and then we will pick cherries. After cherry picking, we will gorge on cherry pies or other picnic fares in the orchard.

After that, a drive home via Yass for an afternoon coffee.

Latest news:

'Allambie have plenty of ripe cherries to pick. We have booked the cafe on site at Allambie for lunch after we do our picking. The cafe will have coffee and snack type food so we don’t need to bring chairs or a picnic hamper.  If,  however,  you want to picnic among the cherry trees you can bring your own food and do that.'
It’s a waypoint run and these are the google map directions that you should have a look at so you'll know where you are going.

Run Grade: This is a ‘Hard Run’ per the Club's grading system, suitable for experienced drivers. It is about 320 kms, over good country roads. The Club’s Grading System is described at https://nsw.mx5.com.au/events/important-information/run-gradings.
