Pack the picnic blankets, table and chairs - Join the Hunter chapter on a relaxing picnic run to Chichester Dam.
We’ll head west and north alongside the Hunter River and Glendon Brook before swinging east towards Gresford and onto our destination of Chichester Dam.
BYO picnic lunch - there are no local shops to purchase food and drinks from.
There are picnic tables at Chicester Dam but you may want to bring a chair just in case.
After lunch we’ll head back to Hexham via Dungog and the Buckets Way.
