Club Driver Training Day

This is the first Driver Training day that will be run by the MX-5 Club of NSW in 2022 at the Pheasant Wood Circuit at Marulan. Another will be scheduled later if needed.
Junior drivers expressing an interest in participating in the junior group please do not pay until you receive an email saying we now have sufficient numbers for the junior group and payment can be made.
Pheasant Wood, Marulan is 90 minutes drive south from Sydney and is a closed circuit facility built specifically for driver training.
This driver training day will be an ideal opportunity for road or track drivers to sharpen their skills, or perhaps to learn some new skills in preparation for driving at a club track day. A classroom tuition session will be available for all drivers during the first round (non first timers may miss a track session if attending the classroom). First timers will have an experienced adviser available for in car tuition for the first half of the day, then as requested. Non first timers are welcome to ask an adviser to sit in with them after the third round.

Entry Fees
We've decide to keep the entry fees at the lower level that we've used in the past.
There is only one Driver Training day in 2022 (at the moment), so we'll rely on getting a good turn-out because of that and the low entry prices. Given that you'll get an hour on the circuit (more than a typical track day), this is the lowest $$ per lap you find anywhere. To make this event pay though, we need lots of not only first timers and beginners, but also more experienced and expert drivers.

Non-member first timer $125
Member beginner $100
Non-member beginner $150
Member intermediate $125
Non-member intermediate $150
Member advanced $125
Non-member advanced $150
Juniors $100
First timer = never been to a track
Beginner = up to 3 track experiences
Intermediate = up to 5 track experiences
Advanced = more than 5 track experiences
Expert = lots of experience
