About the Event

This is the sole Driver Training day that will be run by the MX-5 Club of NSW in 2023, on the Pheasant Wood Circuit at Marulan.

Junior drivers expressing an interest in participating in the junior group please do not pay until you receive an email saying we now have sufficient numbers for the junior group and payment can be made.

Pheasant Wood Circuit at Marulan is 90 minutes drive south from Sydney and is a closed circuit facility built specifically for driver training.

This driver training day will be an ideal opportunity for road or track drivers to sharpen their skills, or perhaps to learn some new skills in preparation for driving at a club track day. A classroom tuition session will be available for all drivers during the first round (non first timers may miss a track session if attending the classroom). First timers will have an experienced adviser rostered for in-car advise after the classroom session and further advise sessions afterward. Non first timers are welcome to ask an adviser to sit in with them after the third round.

Unlike a regular track day there will be experienced advisers at the event wearing armbands whom you can approach for tips, so it's a great way for those drivers with track experience to gain further knowledge and improve their track driving.

Entry Fees

The Pheasant Wood track hire fee has increased by approx 15% for 2023, so the entry fee has has to be similarly increased.

However, given that you'll get an hour on the circuit (more than a typical track day), this is the lowest $$ per lap you find anywhere.

Member first timer                   $110
Non-member first timer           $140
Member beginner                    $110
Non-member beginner            $180

Cheers
