Club Driver Training Day
Entries are NOT open for this event.
About the Event
This is the sole Driver Training day that is planned by the MX-5 Club of NSW in 2025, on the Pheasant Wood Circuit at Marulan.
Junior drivers expressing an interest in participating in the junior group please do not pay until you receive an email saying we now have sufficient numbers for the junior group and payment can be made.
Pheasant Wood Circuit at Marulan is 90 minutes drive south from Sydney and is a closed circuit facility built specifically for driver training.
This driver training day will be an ideal opportunity for road or track drivers to sharpen their skills, or perhaps to learn some new skills in preparation for driving at a club track day. A classroom tuition session will be available for all drivers during the first round (non first timers may miss a track session if attending the classroom). All first timers will attend the classroom session, then have an experienced adviser rostered for in-car advise after the classroom session and further advise sessions afterward. Beginners typically have 2 adviser sessions at the start of the day. There are 2 Track Talk sessions (with an experienced adviser) at the track map located adjacent to the advisers garage all can attend in a Q&A format.
Unlike a regular track day there will be experienced advisers at the event, wearing armbands so they can be identified, whom you can approach for tips. So it's a great way for those drivers with track experience to gain further knowledge and improve their track driving.
