Convenors BBQ
Kick off 2017 with a run to a BBQ lunch at the convenors house.
Catch up with your fellow club members after the Xmas & New Year break and hear all about the fun that has been planned for the year ahead. A morning drive to Wollombi from either Kurri Kurri or Kariong for morning tea before then completing the loop around Pokolbin back to the Convenors house for lunch. Hunter Member of the Year and New Hunter Member of the Year will be announced after a BBQ lunch.
This is a fully subsidised event for members so please RSVP by 12th January ($15 for non members)
Morning Tea is BYO snacks and chairs (both runs to arrive at Slacks Park, Wollombi 10:00am)
Due to the number of RSVP's we suggest you bring your own coffee/drink as the small local coffee shops may be overwhelmed with orders.
Please bring your own folding chairs for lunch at the Convenors house (Black Hill 12:00pm)
There are 2 options for the morning run to Wollombi so please read the information below carefully.
The runs for this event will be a hybrid convoy/way point run. We plan to keep the group together were possible but if the group is separated due to traffic lights, give-way intersections etc, you and the group behind you will be required to follow the run notes and make your own way to the next regroup point. If you have a group behind you, you can be the leader for that group or wave the car behind you around if you are unsure.
We ask all members to please "mark the corner" but this will not always be possible at all turn offs. Please refer to the run sheet if separated from the car in front.
