Electric Karting Challenge
C1 Speed is Australia's first electric indoor karting track covering an area of 2000 square metres. The electric karts are great fun to drive and very safe.
Illawarra members will meet at the new indoor complex to display their driving skills, and possibly boast of their previous karting exploits.
The cost for the event is $58 each, for three races and an annual licence. Those who already have a licence at the venue will only need to pay $50 each. Helmets and balaclavas are provided.
Karters must be at least 10 years old and over 140cm in height.
Booking Details
We have secured our booking for 10 people next Wednesday night, which means we will have two groups of five karters competing in three races each. Thanks to those who have prepaid and made this possible. If you have not prepaid and now find that you're able to attend, please come along on the night. We can add another three karters in each group before reaching the limit of our booking.
Please arrive by 6:30pm for registration, with races starting at 7:00pm and ending about 8:30pm.
Getting to the venue
Please note that access to C1 Speed is from Hargraves Ave NOT Princes Hwy.
From the north:
After the F6 freeway ends and the speed zone changes to 70km/hr, continue south on the Princes Hwy for 1.2km and then turn right at the traffic lights towards the airport. After 50m, turn left onto Hargraves Ave and continue for 600m and enter the C1 Speed carpark.
From the south:
Driving north on Princes Hwy, continue past Albion Park Rail train station and then turn left onto Hargraves Ave. The entrance to C1 Speed carpark is 200m further on the right.
