Fast Train to Leonville Junction
Ride the MX-5 train to Leonville Junction in Horsley. Relive that child in you as you watch the G scale model trains puff puff around a Garden Railway. On the way take part in a grand tour of Jamberoo, uphill and down dale. Visit the Lookout but also drive on some of the country roads you have previously passed by when driving through the Village. See the Valley and Saddleback Mt from a different perspective. Plenty of twisty roads. Two toilet stops and three photographic stops. Bring an ‘easy’ lunch as we will only be stopping for around 30-40 minutes in the park at Jamberoo. Following lunch, we will be proceeding to Leonville Junction where tea and scones will be waiting for us cooked by Leon Sawyer, a former Antarctic Chef. Be amazed by all the model trains, buildings, figures, model cars, garden constructions and machinery in this Garden Railway set up. Enthusiasts can linger for the rest of the afternoon.
