Honeysuckle Creek Picnic
Mike and Jo have graciously allowed Ashley and I to undertake this run this year in our attempt to secure member of the year!
The run is a short, just over an hour run through the Cotter down to the Honeysuckle Tracking Station. Please make sure you bring tables and chairs (in case we do not manage to snag a few of the picnic tables).
Some notes from Mike:
- it’s about twice the elevation of Canberra, so consider bringing a warm coat
- there are no bins at the site, so please be prepared to take your rubbish home with you
- toilet facilities are available at the campground
- mobile reception is near non-existent.
Additional history and reading on the tracking station can be found here:

Run Grade: This is a Cruiser run, suitable for all drivers. It features some narrow, winding country roads which are in generally good condition. The Club’s Grading System is described at https://nsw.mx5.com.au/events/important-information/run-gradings.
