Illawarra Convenors' Picnic

Jeff and Pam Rowe are organising the Convenors' Picnic Lunch and we are inviting all Illawarra Chapter members to attend. As the hosts, we look forward to meeting as many of you as we can.
This event is catered by and paid by the Illawarra Chapter - there will be no cost for club members. Visitors are welcome but will be asked to pay $10 per person, which will be donated to CareFlight. BYO alcoholic drinks if required.
The venue and the catering have been organised and going on past Illawarra events with the helpers we have, it will, we are sure be equal to past outings.
A ‘Show and Shine’ completion will be held for the best judged vehicle. This will be open to all makes and models. It should be good fun. We have asked Mark Underwood to be the Chief Judge. We can’t think of anyone better suited for the job. So wash your cars, clean the windows and paint the tyres. Who knows who or what car could win.
If there is enough interest, we’ll know from the registration forms, there will be a ‘Boot Packing’ competition. This will be for MX-5 only. Bryan Shedden will be the keeper of the stop watch for this fun event.
There are ‘Tennis Courts’ available at the venue. If you would like to have a game of tennis please bring your racquets and balls with you.
If you can bring your picnic table and chairs, that will be great. There are some at the venue but more is better. If you plan to have a glass of wine then please bring your own glasses. Again there are some at the venue but maybe not the type you will want to drink your wine out of.
There will be the option of a short scenic run to the venue, the leader being Mark Underwood. It will leave from ‘Hungry Jacks’ Haywood’s Bay. Meeting at 10.45 am. for an 11.15am. departure. If you would prefer to go straight to the venue then contact Jeff and Pam direct 0419 405 877 and they will tell you where to meet.
The closing date for registration is Monday 8th April. This will allow time for final catering to be arranged.
