In search of Australia's next model
News! Cedar Lodge Motel, has been booked out by MX-5 Club, no rooms left. Try the Braidwood Colonial Motel - 48422027 - only 4 rooms left there as of 4/08/17.
The last time Peter visited Braidwood, he came home with a shiny new ND MX-5 ... a scaled down version courtesy of the famous diecast model shop. What will he find this time?
Yes, we're off to Braidwood for an overnight stay. The run will start at Haywards Bay and travel down the coast and up to Braidwood for lunch next to the model shop. There will be time in the afternoon for shopping or visit to Araluen to sample the twisties of Majors Creek and the cool ale from the pub. We'll probably also dine at TorPeas Restaurant in Braidwood where we've enjoyed meals previously. And of course, a visit to Braidwood would not be complete without a vanilla slice from the bakery. The return run on Sunday will be via Tarago and Nerriga.

Peter has reserved 8 rooms (the entire place) at Cedar Lodge Motel, 64 Duncan St, Braidwood, for Saturday 21 October. Cost is $115/room. Please make your booking directly with the motel by calling 02 4842 2244 and quote "MX-5 Club". Once those rooms fill up, the overflow can try Braidwood Colonial Motel.
