Mark & Hella's Dark Day Out
A great run to Taralga Pub for lunch and then to Wombeyan Caves for a guided or self guided cave tour. The guided tour of Junction Cave starts at 2.30pm and lasts for 1.5 hours. Adults $22, Seniors $20 and Pensioners $17.
There’s also the self-guided tour of the Fig Tree Cave which takes 1 hour, and can be started anytime. Adults $18, Seniors $15 and Pensioners $12.
Both are well worth seeing.
The drive from Taralga to Wombeyan Caves includes about 15 klm of firm good quality dirt road. When we did the test run, we had no trouble with it at all. However, those who wish to avoid the dirt might like to visit Lochani Vineyard to sample their delightful pinot noir.
We will be meeting up with the RPM Chapter at Taralga Pub for lunch.
