Mazda's from the Sea to the Lake
Join us as we travel to the picturesque Central Coast for a historical guided tour of the Norah Head lighthouse ($6 per adult) and some amazing coastline views from the tower balcony, followed by a great lunch at the Toukley 'Beachie' lakeside restaurant.
We’ll drive north along the old Pacific highway, then onto Peats Ridge Road to Ourimbah via Dog Trap Road. From Ourimbah we’ll head to our first morning tea rest stop (Bring your tea and cake) at Long Jetty Wharf through Bush Road and Wyong Road.
After morning tea we’ll cruise to the Norah Head lighthouse for a historical tour (admission $6) and take in the spectacular views from the tower balcony and listen to stories of shipwrecks in days gone by. For those that don’t feel like negotiating the 96 steps to the top of the lighthouse, you can still enjoy the coastal views from the foot of the lighthouse walkways.
By this time, we will have worked up an appetite, so we’ll head west on Main Road Toukley to the 'Beachie' restaurant hosting some scenic uninterrupted lake views and delicious lunch selection.
