MX-5 Club Come-and-Try Hillclimb
Please read all the information below. Failure to do so may result in your entry being incorrect, or in you paying a higher entry fee than necessary.
This hillclimb day is designed for drivers that have little or no experience in this type of event, who either would like to try out a new discipline, or are yearning to fill the gaps in their motorsport calendar.
The hillclimb is being held at Ringwood Park Motorsport Complex, which is approximately 20 minutes north of the Newcastle end of the M1 Motorway.
We will be using the A2 Layout, a map of which can be found in the Supp Regs. This particular layout is 750 metres long, using most of the turns the track has to offer, without being overly complicated like some of the longer layouts can be.

As this event will be run under a CAMS permit, club members will need to hold a CAMS L2S, L2SJ or better licence, or a ONE-DAY CAMS L1 licence. The L1 license is only available to those who have not previously held a CAMS licence, and is available only once per year at a cost of $25, payable during the event entry process. You do not need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated car club to purchase an L1 licence.
The entry process is now completely online at the CAMS Event Entry (CEE) web site. There can be multiple steps in submitting an entry, particularly for dual-entered cars, and it is important to complete those steps in the correct order. We strongly advise you to view the tutorials on the CEE site before attempting to register at the site or enter the event.
CAMS Event Entry can be accessed through the CAMS website (http://www.cams.com.au), on the right hand side, under the heading "What can you do in the member portal?"
When entering the event, if you are an MX-5 Club member please be sure to select a quantity of "1" for the "MX-5 Club member discount" item. You must select this item to receive the club member discount.
Please ensure you read and understand the Supplementary Regulations for the event BEFORE you enter. These can be found via the link below.
We will need club members or visitors to help on the day, so if you are available and willing to help, please contact Josh Allen (details above).
