MX500 Forsyths Coffee Run Bylong Valley Way
The MX500 is an annual one day classic event organised by the BreakFast Club that has been brought forward in 2016 to April to facilitate some multi day events in the Spring. This year Robert Forsyth will lead the run and offer all participating a chance to sample five star gold medal Columbian coffee and for those game enough a shot of Koupi Luewak the coffee made from the beans extracted from the faeces of jungle monkeys.
The route covers a little over 500kms and suitable for any experienced drier. There will be regular stops to minimise fatigue and the ensure that everyone travels as a unified group on roads that should be relatively free of traffic until we approach Lithgow on the Castlereagh Highway.
The run will head up the Putty Road at 7.00am with the first waypoint and coffee stop in the lay-by at the top of the awesome gorges at around 8.45am before we bread into the Hunter Valley. Breakfast will be in a venue to be selected in Denman at around 9.30am. The run will head off to the fabulous Bylong Valley Way at 10.30am for a run to Bylong then onto Rylstone for refreshments at around 11.45am.
We should be at Lithgow by 12.45pm to head back over the Blue Mountains by the route most suitable to get you back home by mid afternoon .
