Nerriga Nosh Up
A historic landmark on the route between Nowra and Braidwood or Goulburn. Established in the mid-1800s, the pub was first known as the Cricketer’s Arms Hotel. Its name was later changed to the Commercial Hotel. Located on the old Wool Road, in the small village of Nerriga. These days its population is less than 50; there are a few houses, two churches, a community hall and the pub which is now known as the Nerriga Hotel.
To make this run a bit more interesting than a straight out drive to the pub, we will head off from Tomerong to the Fleet Air Arm Museum at HMAS Albatross.(entry is free). We plan to spend around an hour at the museum before departing for Nerriga. Meeting time will be 9-30 at Tomerong with a 9:45 departure for Abatross. Lunch will be booked for around 12:15pm.
