Newcastle Evening Loop
Why Sunday you ask, well having just driven the route, Sunday evenings are the quietest time to drive into Newcastle. Why the 14th? Because the sun should be setting by the time we get to Horseshoe beach. Lets start with a picnic dinner get together at Speers point park before heading out at 7:00pm to circumnavigate Newcastle city, from Speers Point we'll head to Sandgate before heading down Industrial drive the harbour foreshore following it to Horseshoe Beach carpark for our first stop. Hopefully seeing the sunset over the harbour before heading around the beaches to Merewether and the Anzac walk to admire the evening colours over the city. We finish the run via Dudley and Belmont and back to Warners Bay for a McDonalds coffee to finish up.
