Orroral Valley Picnic
We will have a relaxed drive up into the high country to the south of Canberra. Some of the best drives and views in the district.
We will meet at the Stromlo Leisure Centre Car park - it’s off Dave McInnes Drive. There is a public cafe in the Leisure Centre if you need a coffee before we leave.
We will have a self catered picnic. So bring everything. Bring a butane stove or use the bbq if you want to have a bacon and egg role or a steak. We will head for the shelter with tables and chairs - but bring your own in case they are taken.
It’s higher there - about 1000 metres - so it’s a bit colder. You may need to bring a jacket.
The event is of course weather dependent - but April in Canberra can be glorious
