Port to Port via Dorrigo Weekend Away

Join us for a great spring MX5 weekend away and enjoy the run we had in January deemed a great success enjoyed by everyone who attended. Good company, meals, accommodation and roads to drive made for the MX5.

Starting at Port Macquarie, Day 1 will head north to Dorrigo via Arakoon and Nambucca Heads, with breaks at Arakoon, Captain Cook Lookout and Bellingen. We'll then have free time to explore Bellingen, travel up to Dorrigo to visit the National Park or whatever takes your fancy. The Federal Hotel in Bellingen serves a good lunch and there are numerous cafes to choose from.

Our destination for the evening is the Heritage Hotel Motel Dorrigo. Trip adviser gives the Hotel a good rating and this is a chance to experience a trip back in time. We'll meet up again in the hotel at 6:00pm for dinner at 6:30pm.

The service, our meal and accommodation in January was first rate and a credit to the staff at the hotel.

We have reserved 10 rooms for the club at $98 per room including continental breakfast. However to ensure that you get a room, it is essential for you to make your own booking by calling the hotel on 6657 2016. Once you have made your booking, please phone or email the run organiser. The Hotel will hold the reservation until 20th September

For Day 2, we take Waterfall Way to Ebor Falls via Ebor. From Ebor Falls we travel to Armidale then Uralla for lunch. After lunch we head off to Walcha, then down the Oxley Highway to Wauchope via the Gingers Creek Roadhouse. The run will end at Timbertown in Wauchope.
