RPM is off to Hill End and Sofala

Starting from Glenbrook Theatre (behind the tourist centre), meet at 08.00am for 08.30am start. We will head up the highway for a comfort stop and second pick-up at Little Hartley Courthouse, around 09.45am. From there we run down to Kelso and turn north through Turondale and Sally's Flat and on to Hill End. Arriving around eleven we should have time to take in the vast array of tourist sites before walking up the hill to the Hill End General Store for their award winning meat pies. For those who are not driving the Royal Hotel is adjacent.
Once we have eaten we can head down the road to the quirky little town of Sofala. Well worth a wander around town and there are a couple of interesting places to buy coffee.
The official run ends there and you can return home by several routes of your choice.
