Run To The Ridge
Dictionary.com defines it like this, Ridge · a long, narrow elevation of land; a chain of hills or mountains. Sound like a great place to be in an MX5, yeah? So why not join us on our "Run To The Ridge" Peats Ridge.
Peats Ridge, sounds like a place where once there were battles fought out on horseback over plots of land and brave soldiers tore up the mountains on their trusty steeds to conquer. Maybe I got a little carried away there and let my imagination run a little to freely. But you get the picture.
Meeting at McGrath Hill we will head out through Freemans Reach, Tennyson and East Kurrajong and make our way to the Putty Rd for a short stint up to Bull Ridge Rd. From there the route will wind its way down through Sackville and along the river all the way up to Wisemans Ferry.
Crossing the river by punt will get us onto Wisemans Ferry Rd and follow the bends along the other side we'll make our way up through Greens Grove, Mangrove Mountain to Peats Ridge.
Breakfast will be served at the Corigated Cafe. After breakfast either slip straight back down the freeway or find another place to conquer and jump off the highway and zig and zag your way home.
Please note that this is a waypoint run and is graded H. Participants should familiarise themselves with the waypoint guidelines and the run grading criteria before attending. More information can be found here:
