Snowy Mountains Loop
With the ski season over, and the roads clearing, it’s time to head to the mountains, without chains and anti-freeze.
The idea is to complete a loop around the Snowy Mountains, finding as many twisty roads as possible. There will be some good driving involved.
We will be passing threough some - or all - of the following locations in the Snowy Mountains region: Jugiong, Gundagai, Tumut, Adaminaby, Jindabyne, Kiandra, Khancoban, Thredbo, Dalgety, Maffra, and Cooma. Although we are still finalising the route and planned activities, it will involve a two-night stay at Jindabyne, in the excellent Jindy Inn.
Accommodation has been pencilled in for our group – to a maximum of ten rooms (and with a 10% discount) – but the rooms can only be held for us for a couple of weeks. That means we need registrations and bookings done quickly.
Jindy Inn, 18 Clyde Street Jindabyne NSW 2627 (02 6456 1957, info@jindyinn.com.au).
- Garden Rooms are at $135 per night
- Standard rooms are $145 per night
- Superior rooms are $155 per night.
The Jindy Inn will require the first night’s tariff as a deposit for each room and this would be required upon booking. Make sure you mention that you are part of the ‘MX-5 Club Canberra’ to get your 10% discount on the total price.
More information will be posted soon, so keep coming back to the website.
RSVP to Rod Nicholas at canberra@mx5.com.au, book your accommodation, and let Rod know it’s been done.
