Meeting up with Hunter Chapter at approx 11:30 then onto Wollombi for a picnic lunch at approx 12:30.

The Wollombi Wander is a Cruiser Run with a “C” grading up the Northern Road to cross the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry then drive on through Spencer, left at Central Mangrove to meet up with the Hunter Chapter at The Corrugated Café at Peat’s Ridge at approximately 11:30. Cruisers will stop for a short break (10min) before continuing up to the quaint little village Wollombi for a picnic lunch at the park in Yango Creek Rd Wollombi. The picnic lunch is optional as there are many cafés within a short 2 minute walk. Wollombi has four eateries offering everything from a country pub lunch to Italian bistro and two cafes with cuisines fitting in between. For a small village well away from the major highways and byways, Wollombi has a lot to offer the day tripper. Please find below a link to “Escape to Historic Wollombi Valley”, the homepage of the local community.

Due to uncertainty of numbers attending from Sydney and the Hunter no lunch venue has been reserved but members may take the option to eat in the local restaurant, cafes or the famous Wollombi Tavern (Home of Dr Jurds Jungle Juice).

After sampling the local hospitality and lunch, members may make there own way home or take the option to join with the Hunter Chapter for the second half of their run. (An informal run back down the Putty Road is planned by at least one member).

RSVP: Not required, just turn up.
