Vehicle Classes

Note : The classes used in the MX-5 Club Hillclimbs are not as described in the CAMS manual.

The classes are contained in the Supplementary Regulations for the hillclimb events, but are as follows:

1. Stock MX5 Under 1900cc, 180 tyre tread wear lower limit.

2. Stock MX5 Over 1900cc including stock SE, 180 tyre tread wear lower limit.

3. Modified MX5 Under 1900cc, 180 tyre tread wear lower limit.

4. Modified MX5 Under 2100cc, 180 tyre tread wear lower limit.

5. MX5 Forced Induction and/or R-Specs and/or Over 2100cc.

6. All non-MX-5's, and MX-5's on slicks

If you don't have an MX-5, that's fine - you can still enter - you will be in class 6.

Note that trophies are only awarded for classes 1 to 5.
