A big thanks to Gillian and Grahame for a wonderful day out, the sun shone, and the rain kept away while we wandered around the Pioneer Village, we had Mulga Bill riding his penny farthing around and musicians on every veranda to bring an old-world charm to the experience.
We enjoyed a Devonshire tea outside a shop made from the ironbark tree in the shade of some tall gum trees, great scones! Plenty of shops and ironbark homes to wander through to show you how tough it must have been for those who went before us, even a shady ladies house. There was a free glass of cold lemonade just outside the shearing shed and it was a very easy stroll to get to all on offer.
After two hours of wandering, we all craved some air conditioning and Windsor RSL did not disappoint, the food was ordered, cooked and promptly served. With a cold drink in hand, we wandered into the bar section where the chatter continued into the afternoon.
Thank you again!
