Burbs to the bay run

At 9.15 am 4 MX5's and 5 members and 1 visitor were at McDonalds Auburn.By 9.30am we were on our way to St Ives in only what can be described as a perfect spring day , having signed on and run sheet equipped ,the traffic was quite heavy but we were moving.We arrived at St Ives Showground about 10.15am where another MX5 was waiting by 10.30 another arrived and we were on our way to Palm Beach in very light traffic.At Palm Beach we parked the cars and went to the cafe and had an enjoyable lunch and we got to meet members we had not met before.A walk along the beach and up to the lighthouse was decided upon after lunch but when we got to the northern car park it was full,they were filming Home and Away, so we said goodby and departed.
