Good things come in (very) small packages

24 June 2016 / Bryan Shedden

Do you like your cars small? Like, really small? Then here's something for you.

Mattel has released a 1:58 scale diecast model of the 2015 Mazda MX-5 ND in their Matchbox 1-125 Series MBX Adventure City range. The car is beautifully detailed with great attention to detail and very accurate reproduction.

But wait there's more!

There is also a Hot Wheels version of the MX-5 ND, complete with a massive wing, skirts, splitter, lowered stance and racing livery. If you like your cars racy, this is the one for you. Just be careful when searching for it. Hot Wheels also have a red Jaguar F-Type, and the packaging looks very similar (link).

You can now pick them up for only a few dollars each at your local Woolworths, Coles, Big W, Kmart, etc. That's a tiny price compared to the embarassment you will suffer while desperately rummaging through the toys section at the supermarket.
