MX5 Goes to the Movies

On Friday evening, the 9th of October 2015, a small group of MX5/ movie enthusiasts met at the Tuggeranong Limelight Cinema to view Matt Damon's most recent blockbuster... “The Martian”. A nail biting, edge of the seat movie about the plight of an astronaut inadvertently “left behind” on the planet Mars. With few options of rescue, his hopes of survival are grim... will he, in fact live to tell the tale...?

Following very positive feedback on the film, I can safely say it is recommended viewing.

The movie was preceded by a very lively and enjoyable banquet at the “Istanbul” Restaurant, Anketell Street, Tuggeranong, Greenway. Following the meal the group casually made its way upstairs to the cinema. All very civilised.

All in all... a very successful MX5 social event.
