New rules for Concours d'Elegance
17 August 2017 / Michael Soulos
The rules for judging entrants in Concours d’Elegance have been changed for 2017 as a trial of the Open Concours Rules to allow those members with MX-5s that were previously judged down on originality able to compete on a more even playing field for Concours honours.
This year originality will not be criteria judged other than to decide a winner where cars are on equal points at the end of the judging process. In all other respects the guidelines for judging cars in concours remain unchanged.
If you love to detail your MX-5 to Concours standards, desire Concours honours and you are willing to assist in judging the Concours event then go to the Presidents Picnic event on the club website and lodge your entry.
The criteria for Show 'n' Shine remains unchanged with the naming of the modified event being altered to Modified & Performance MX-5s without any change to its judging criteria.
