Join us for another of our famous track days at Wakefield Park and celebrate 20 years of MX-5 Club track days.

ENTRIES NOW OPEN!

This track day has a special entry fee of $135, entries are capped at 103, with maximum runs limited to 4. This is so that all the other special events can be accommodated at this special celebration of 20 years of club track days at Wakefield Park.

Entry Fee & Payment

The preferred method of payment is by direct deposit. Please be sure to include the reference number provided by the entry system when performing the bank transfer, so we can identify your payment.

Entering this event

Entry is via our online system.

If you are a member of the MX-5 Club of NSW who joined the club before 25th September 2017, you can enter online via the link on the BOOK NOW button.

If you are not a member of the MX-5 Club of NSW, or you joined the club after 25th September, you must contact the event secretary so you can be registered with the online entry system. Please send an email to eventsec@mx5.com.au, with your name, address, phone number, email address and the date of the event you wish to enter. Please include your membership number if you are a new member of the club. The event secretary will then email back to you within a few days, with details on how you can enter the event.

20th Anniversary of Motorsport Dinner

The MX-5 Club of NSW will be celebrating 20 years of Club Track Days with a special commemorative dinner at the Southern Star Inn on Saturday 25th November 2017 followed by this special club track day on Sunday 26th November 2017. Please complete the booking form to register your attendance at either or both days. Click here for more information on the dinner.

Lunch at Club Track Day

Various chapters of the MX-5 Club of NSW will have social runs to Wakefield Park to spectate at the track day and help celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Motorsport.

Each registered & financial club member will receive a $10 voucher towards their lunch at the track cafe. This includes competitors, officials and spectators.

Please indicate your intention to register for and/or attend the track day on the booking form.

Special Gift

A commemorative long-sleeve polo shirt will be available free-of-charge for each club member attending the Saturday dinner and/or competing/officiating at the Sunday club track day. The shirts are premium pre-shrunk 100% cotton (black), suitable for competitor use at club track days, and have a 50+ UPF rating. They have the club logo on the front-left chest and a commemorative large graphic on the back.

Please select your shirt size on the booking form. If you do not want a polo shirt or you are not a club member, please select this option from the list.

Note: Those not eligible to receive a free shirt will be able to purchase one at a cost of $20 each.

SPECTATOR EVENTS

Hot Laps, Trackday Tours, Race Car displays - for spectators, there’ll be so much to see and do at our MX-5 Club 20^th Anniversary of Motorsport event.

Charity Hot Laps

Here is your chance to jump in the passenger seat for some fast laps with one of our competition drivers. At Wakefield Park on Sunday 26 November, we will raffle 8 passenger hot laps sessions to raise money for CareFlight. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and will be available from the MX-5 Club Centre at the northern end of pit lane.

A helmet and suitable clothing of long sleeves and pants with closed shoes will be available to raffle winners or bring your own. A signed Wakefield Park Raceway disclaimer is required.

Trackday Tours

See what goes on behind the scenes of our Club Trackdays. We’ll start in the pit garages, meeting the drivers and their cars before visiting the starting grid for a chat with Grid Marshal Joe Kovacic. After a trip to the Control Tower, we will join the Flag marshals at Flagpoint 1 for a front line view of all the action at Turn 2.

Register at the MX-5 Club Centre at the northern end of pit lane. A signed Wakefield Park disclaimer is required for Flagpoint 1. Numbers are limited.

Arch of Victory Photos

A chance to recreate history. Our Club photographer Rob Wilkins will be on hand to professionally photograph you and your MX-5 under Wakefield Park’s famous archway.

Register at the MX-5 Club Centre at the northern end of pit lane.

Race Car Display

Visit the pit garages to inspect some of the fastest MX-5s in the country and meet the drivers.

MX-5 Parade Lap

So how many MX-5s does it take to fill a race track? All competitors and spectators are invited to join us in a Parade Lap of Wakefield Park Raceway. The MX-5 Parade Lap will be conducted at low speed behind a pace car.

Helmets are not required for the Parade Lap but drivers and passengers must sign a Wakefield Park disclaimer form at the MX-5 Club Centre at the northern end of pit lane.

Mods Show

Members are invited to display their MX-5 in the spectator parking area.
