Club/CSCA Supersprint - Round 5
Entries are now open!
For 2026, the Mazda MX-5 Club of NSW has again joined CSCA (Combined Sports Car Association) and will utilise all CSCA rounds for our Sprint Championship, allowing us to compete in more events over the season and at more tracks, including the GP and Druitt Circuits at SMSP which have never previously formed part of our sprint championship. We also make our return to One Raceway, formerly known as Wakefield Park.
Competitors will be eligible for both the MX-5 Club Sprint Championship (using our rules) and the CSCA Championship (using CSCA’s class structure). As such, when you enter a club / CSCA supersprint in 2026, you will be required to nominate a vehicle class for both MX-5 Club and CSCA Championships.
Round 5 of the 2026 MX-5 Club Sprint Championship will be organised by Club Lotus Australia.
Note that this event uses the new Motorsport Australia portal.
The new MA member portal and event management system went live over a month late, and is still not fully implemented. Car details, classes, lap times and other details have apparently not been migrated to the new system, and MA do not know when this will happen, so there are some additional requests for information from entrants included in the invitation letter.
MX-5 Club of NSW Technical Rules
Please note there may be some changes in the technical rules and benchmark times for the championship vehicles classes. You should review those updates when entering an event in 2026.
A new 2026 class declaration form is required for all club sprint entrants.
Those who wish to reserve a competition number must apply via the CSCA website and pay an annual fee of $10.

You are invited to enter the MX-5 Club Sprint / CSCA Supersprint, hosted by Club Lotus Australia at Sydney Motorsport Park Gardner GP Circuit on Saturday 15th August 2026.

Please complete your Event Entry on the Motorsport Australia Member Portal.

Additionally, when entering the event you must complete the following two Motorsport Australia documents, and e-mail them to the Event Secretary motorsport@clublotus.com.au:
The Supplementary Regulations and invitation letter are listed below. Note that there are additional instructions in the invitation letter that you should read.
When entering the event on the Motorsport Australia Member Portal, please ensure that:
- Your CSCA reserved number is updated, otherwise you will be allocated a number.
- Your lap time for this and other circuits are entered and up to date. A guide to assist with this process is provided in the Supplementary Regulations. This information is needed to allocate you into an appropriate run group.
Please also note that as this Supersprint is part of the CMC/Shannons weekend at SMP, garages are not available for competitors as stall holders for Sunday’s event will be setting up. Carports will be available on a first come first served basis. If you have any questions the motorsport committee team can be contacted at motorsport@clublotus.com.au.
