Entries are now open!

Competitors will be eligible for both the MX-5 Club Sprint Championship (using our MX-5 Club rules) and the CSCA Championship (using CSCA’s class structure). As such, when you enter a Club/CSCA Supersprint in 2026, you will be required to nominate a vehicle class for both MX-5 Club and CSCA Championships.

Round 6 of the 2026 MX-5 Club Sprint Championship will be organised by Jaguar Drivers Club of Australia.

Note that entry for this event is different to past rounds in 2026, so please read the notes below and most importantly, the invitation letter from the Jaguar Club.

Entry and Documentation

The event is open to financial members of CSCA clubs as listed in the Supplementary Regulations PLUS other CAMS affiliated clubs at the discretion of the secretary.

Due to ongoing issues with the new Motorsport Australia Event Entry System, the CSCA entry portal is being used for this event. This is a Google Forms  based entry system. While it is not something that the MX-5 Club has used in the past, it is simple to use. Most MX-5 Club members should be familiar with Google Forms from other MX-5 Club events.

Note that one consequence is that payment is via direct deposit only - there is no credit card payment facility.

The Jaguar Club has simplified the entry process as much as they can. In consultation with MA, the only document that needs to be filled out and sent to the event secretary is the vehicle/apparel compliance document:

This should be emailed to the Event Secretary: jdca-sporting-reg@jaguar.org.au

Please read the invitation letter from the Jaguar Club for full details about the entry process.

Those who wish to reserve a competition number must apply via the CSCA website and pay an annual fee of $10.

If you do not have a reserved CSCA number, you must use the number allocated from the Jaguar Club for this event.

If you need to withdraw you can do so up to 4 Days before the event. No refund for cancellation after that day. Refunds will be less $10 for administration.

Please ensure your Club membership and MA licence is up to date and remember to bring your Club membership on the day as you MUST have them on registration in the base of the Control Tower.

Please note that your car MUST be presented in the state it will run! Cameras, data loggers etc CANNOT be added after scrutineering. Take care that tyre sizes, class, etc are correctly listed. Remember to make sure your car is presented in a race ready condition. Front and rear tow hooks fitted and fire extinguishers securely mounted. Limited competition numbers may be available at registration at $2.50 per letter. However, it is recommended the competitors purchase their own numbers before the event.

Garages and carports are again free for this event. Garages 48 and 49 are reserved for officials.

Please note also that drivers placed in group 1 will be required to place their cars on the dummy grid in their respective position prior to the drivers briefing. Those groupings will be advised prior to the event.

Please read the Supplementary Regulations carefully.

All non-logbooked cars will be subject to scrutiny prior to the event.

All logbooked cars will be subject to targeted scrutiny – please present your log book at scrutineering prior to the event, it will be determined whether your vehicle requires an audit which will be carried out during the day.

Supplementary Regulations are 'Event Specific' and must be read in their entirety prior to entering this event.

Driver Training

This event will also feature a driver training run group. You will see reference to this in the Supplementary Regulations.

The MX-5 Club will not be officially participating in this driver training at this event, but we will evaluate how it runs. This training is a little different to the Driver Training day that the club runs each year. Trainers in this group need to be certified by Motorsport Australia for example, which whilst not an involved process, it is something that the club would need to manage.

MX-5 Club of NSW Technical Rules

Please note there may be some changes in the technical rules and benchmark times for the championship vehicles classes. You should review those updates when entering an event in 2026.

A new 2026 class declaration form is required to be submitted once in 2026 per vehicle for all Club sprint entrants, and then again each time there are further modifications to the vehicle throughout the year.
