Cordeaux Dam Club Lunch
Come along and celebrate all things Aussie at Cordeaux Dam Picnic Area.
Rod Nicholas will lead the Canberra contingent to this Club (all-chapter) event.
See how far you can throw a thong, or what about a game of cricket or croquet? Jenga anyone?
If games and sporting activities are not your thing, take a stroll, or share a tall tale, or a small ale, with friends from near and far.
There will be lamingtons for everybody registered but bring your chairs and picnic lunch and share the day discussing the latest MX5 or just catch up with friends you haven’t seen in a while.
For now, please register your intention to attend so we can make sure to have enough lamingtons!
Register with Rod Nicholas at canberra@mx5.com.au.
The run to Cordeaux Dam is about 200 km, plus around the same for return. We will take a longish run there and head back home along the Hume Boreway Highway.
Run Grade: This is a ‘long’ run, suitable for all drivers. It includes some country roads in generally good condition, although there may be some potholes to avoid, and some 110km/hr highways over a variety of terrains. The first stage to our first stop (Bungendore to Bundanoon) will be about 1:45 hours (130 kms). The Club’s Grading System is described at https://nsw.mx5.com.au/events/important-information/run-gradings.
