Frock'n Roll
Straight down the highway for an early lunch at Miss Heidi’s Austrian Teahouse. This will maximise the time for clothes shopping / car perusing. Following this there are two options being offered.
1 – make your own way home on the same day, maybe with a boot full of new clothes! Or;
2 – stay in Cooma overnight* – accommodation TBC. This will allow us to experience a more scenic drive home (at least until we hit the Hume, but that’s far later in the day). We’ll first aim for the Snowy Mountains Highway (hopefully we’ll see some Brumbies), check out part of the Snowy Hydro infrastructure at Talbingo followed by lunch in Tumut before heading home. Maybe even with a refreshment stop at Jugiong.
*noting the run is in May and with the inconsistent snow season, day 2 could be cancelled if the weather is bad or the Snowy Mountains Highway is not in a suitable condition (snow / ice) for our MX5’s.
