2023 marks the 10th year of the MX-5 Cup race series. We are celebrating the occasion with a buffet dinner and trophy presentation night at Benzin Cafe. It is also some years since we've had a proper presentation night for our Club Trackday and Motorkhana trophy recipients, so this will be combined with this event. Join us for a fabulous night of socialising with your motorsport mates.
Event Program
5:30pm – Arrival Event Opens
6:00 to 6:30pm – Japanese Fusion Buffet Dinner (6-7 courses), pastries, tea & coffee
7:00pm – Trophy Presentation
8:00pm – Raffle & Prizes Drawn
8:30pm – Event Closes
Thank you to Simone from MX5 Mania for organising this venue. MX5 Mania will be providing some wines & beers. Benzin Cafe is not a licensed venue but BYO drinks are welcome. Soft drinks can be purchased at your own expense. Simone is organising a slide show with Rob Wilko's photos from our MX-5 Cup races & Club Trackdays. Raffle Prizes
There will be three separate raffles with all proceeds donated to CareFlight.
- MX-5 Cup competitors will be eligible to enter the raffle for a set of 4 Kumho 15” S700 race slicks donated by Prime Race Tyres.
- Club Trackday competitors will be eligible to enter the raffle for a set of 4 Kumho V70A or V730 tyres donated by Kumho Tyres Australia.
- All attendees will be eligible to enter the raffle for the following prizes:
- Snap-on Tools Associate Tool Set (valued at $1700)
- MX5 Mania Gift Packs
- stay tuned for further news about additional raffle prizes
Each MX-5 Cup and Club Trackday competitor attending the evening will be given a raffle ticket. Additional tickets for each raffle may be purchased during the evening.

FREE for all MX-5 Cup registered drivers and their partners
FREE for all Club Trackday competitors, officials and organisers
FREE for all motorkhana competitors
FREE for all other Club members
Capacity is limited to 100 people - FULLY BOOKED
If bookings exceed this capacity, priority will be given to all MX-5 Cup competitors (and their partners) and Club Trackday and Motorkhana trophy recipients.
