Our Club was presented with a 20 Year Milestone Recognition Award at the 2013 CAMS Motorsport Awards at Rydges Hotel, Bathurst. Mike Hicks was in for an even bigger surprise when he was awarded a highly prestigious CAMS Service Award.

Launch of 2014 MX-5 Race Series - MX-5 CUP

Race the Rain Mini-Run

Coastal torrential rain caused the Hunter Chapter's November outing to be turned into a mini-run. Only five cars braved the rain for a short drive to Wollombi for morning tea and then to Greta for lunch.

The annual weekend away for the Illawarra Chapter was down the coast to Braidwood via a lunch stop at Mogo, and dinner at TorPeas Restaurant. On Sunday, we returned via Old Goulburn Brewery for a tour and lunch, an unplanned detour to Windellama and Bungonia, before taking the Highland Way to Robertson.

South Coast Cruise and Whale Spotting

Norm & Roz report on another successful weekend away with a spot of whale watching along the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley the coast. Some lovely MX-5 driving roads were sampled, and the company was great as usual, although the whales proved to be elusive!
