Supersprint at Wakefield Park

The Mini Car Club of NSW is hosting Round 6 of the CAMS NSW Supersprint Championship at Wakefield Park on 9 September. Our next club track day is not until November, so if you're keen for a run before then, this is a perfect opportunity for you. Entries from non-championship competitors are very welcome.

24th Cobra Nationals 2017

The MX-5 Club has been asked if we would like to participate in the 24th Cobra Nationals. It is a three day track event held at Wakefield Park on 29,30 September and 1 October 2017.

NSWRRC Regularity Relay 2017 at SMP GP Easter 2017

Easter 2018 6hr Regularity Relay

NSW Road Racing Club will be running the third annual 6 hour regularity relay at SMP GP circuit on the Easter weekend next year - 31 March 2018 and 1 April 2018. Most of the teams that competed in 2017 will be back in 2018 to try and stop the MX-5 Club from repeating the success of 2017 where the two RPM Chapter teams (Blue Mountains Mazda and Panorama Mountain Men) took out first and second place. The event is run over two days with Easter Saturday being devoted to practice and Easter Sunday being the event. Entries for this event open on Tuesday 8 August and teams are currently being organised.

NSW Supersprint Championships - Round 5

The quest for the "Four-peat" continues (four consecutive wins for the MX-5 Club in the Club Championship), with Round 5 adding a mighty 9 points (!) to our lead over the Australian Racing Drivers Club – now 63 points, 1907 to 1844. Thanks to the 18 Club members competing we added a total of 416 points to our tally.

TB Cup

The TB Cup (Tiger Beetle Cup) is a Knockout Sprint Event being held in NSW that involves production sports coupes and roadsters whose engine sizes are 2.0 litres and below driven by amateur drivers only. MX-5 Club members have been invited to enter.

Six Hour Regularity Relay at SMP GP

NSWRRC is holding a 6 hour regularity relay over the Easter weekend of 15 & 16 April on the Grand Prix Circuit at Eastern Creek. Our club has already entered four teams with a total of 17 drivers, but it is not too late for anyone else to enter.
