Overview

This website was built by Daemon according to a specification designed by Fiona & Bryan Shedden. The development process is summarised below.

The website specification was drafted by Fiona & Bryan Shedden in August/September 2012, feedback incorporated from the Committee, and sent to several website developers for quotation. Links to the documents provided to the developers are here: specification and wireframes. Proposals were received by February 2013 and Daemon was selected as the preferred supplier with a quote of $15,000 inc GST. David Lawler was recruited as the Website Coordinator in March 2013 (a new Committee role). The new website was delivered by Daemon in May 2013 for user acceptance testing. A training day for Contributors was held in June 2013 and content was built on the site over the next month or so. The site was officially launched on 12 August 2013. The site is hosted by Daemon at a cost of $2500 per year.

A major upgrade of the website commenced in October 2017 with testing and refinement during November/December 2017. The work fixed many issues with the site that had built up over the preceding four years of use (see list). The new site was relaunched on 9 January 2018 and several new bugs were ironed out over the next few weeks. The total cost of this work was approximately $9000 inc GST.
